ABOUT CHEF LONNIE
As a young kid growing up in Israel, Chef Lonnie was always fascinated with trying and combining different ingredients to make his meals stand out from the rest. When he was 18, he made the long journey to New York City to attend the prestigious French Culinary Institute with the dreams of becoming a chef.
After culinary school Lonnie worked at some of the most recognized restaurants in Manhattan, including Bond St., River Cafe, Chanterelle, Tuscan Square, Tavern on the Green, Michael Jordan's Steakhouse, Brasserie 8 1/2, Uncle Jacks and Henry’s.
After many exciting years in the restaurant industry, Chef Lonnie had a vision to bring his Mediterranean cooking style in a more personalized way. Now he is cooking exclusively as a Private/Personal Chef in NYC, New Jersey, the Hamptons, Connecticut, Miami, and LA.
His recipes are healthy and delicious, using the freshest seasonal ingredients available from the local farmer markets.
